Welcome to MageBytes Schema & SEO, owned and operated by MageBytes Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our Shopify Application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By installing, accessing, or using MageBytes Schema & SEO on your Shopify store, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may uninstall the Application at any time.
2. Description of Service
MageBytes Schema & SEO provides structured data (JSON-LD) management, diagnostic scanning, automated schema conflict resolution, merchant shipping & return policy integration, and AI-powered FAQ generation for Shopify merchants.
The Service is designed to enhance search engine visibility, Google Rich Results eligibility, and AI search crawler indexing for your store's products, collections, articles, and store profile.
3. Merchant Responsibilities & Account Integration
As a merchant using our Service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and lawful information regarding your business, products, shipping rates, and return policies.
- Ensure that your store complies with Shopify’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
- Grant MageBytes Schema & SEO the necessary Shopify API permissions (e.g. reading product/collection metadata, writing App Metafields) required for structured data rendering.
4. Billing, Subscription Plans & Cancellation
MageBytes Schema & SEO offers tiered subscription plans (Free Plan & Paid/Growth Plans):
- All subscription billing is processed directly through Shopify’s Official Billing API in accordance with Shopify’s Billing terms.
- Subscription charges are billed on a recurring 30-day billing cycle or annual cycle depending on your selected tier.
- You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription plan at any time through the in-app pricing dashboard or Shopify Admin.
- Upon uninstalling the Application, all recurring subscription charges will automatically cease.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
MageBytes Pvt Ltd retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Application, including all software, source code, designs, algorithms, branding, and documentation. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application on your authorized Shopify storefront.
6. Service Availability & Search Engine Warranties
While we strive to ensure 99.9% uptime and strict compliance with Google Schema.org standards, MageBytes Pvt Ltd does not guarantee specific search engine rankings or Rich Snippet displays, as final search result appearance is solely determined by Google's proprietary search algorithms.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MageBytes Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Notice of significant updates will be provided via the Application dashboard or directly via email. Continued use of the Application after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
